Ceramist, UNESCO's Artist for Peace

Since 2002, Setsuko has served as the honorary president of the Association for the Atelier of Balthus, and in 2005, she was designated as UNESCO’s Artist for Peace. She began to make ceramic works at the Astier de Villatte studio in 2014, and recently bronze work at the studio of Patrick LaRoche. She serves as a board member of the Ahimsa Fund Strategic Committee, the Magic Library, is the high councillor of the Soul of Japan Circle and a founding member of the Academic Council of the Fez Festival of Sacred Music and Forum: a soul for globalization. She currently lives between Paris and at the Grand Chalet de Rossinière, Switzerland.
