Dr Duneton currently serves as UNITAID Deputy Executive Director. He holds this position since July 2007, prior to this he was actively involved in the creation of UNITAID in 2006 by the French Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, and served as an advisor for the French Ministry of Health.
Prior to that, he serves as European and International Chief of Mission on Drug for the French Ministry of Health (2004-2006); was Director General of the Drug Agency Afssaps, Vice President and Board President of the European Drug Agency (1999-2004); Secretary General of the Drug Agency Afssaps (1998-1999), Advisor to the French Minister of Health Mr Bernard Kouchner (1997-1998).
