Youth Programmes Coordinator, UNAIDS
With over ten years of experience in international cooperation for development, Ruben has spent the past eight at UNAIDS, where he has held different positions including Programme Officer at the UNAIDS country office in Guatemala, UNAIDS Regional Youth Adviser for Latin America, and Programme Officer for Gender Equality and Diversity Division at UNAIDS Geneva. In 2016 Ruben was appointed as UNAIDS Youth Programmes Coordinator, focusing efforts on UNAIDS’ support to young people’s leadership, participation and youth-led accountability in the HIV response.
