Thomas Joseph is Team Leader, Community Engagement with WHO’s Global TB Programme. He previously worked for thirty years with nonprofits at local, national and international levels in the field of social and economic rights. He has been Country Director in Kenya, Ethiopia, South Africa and Lesotho with the international NGOs ActionAid and CARE. Thomas has also served as International Director, Organizational Effectiveness with ActionAid. Thomas has an MBA from India and a Master’s degree in economics from the University of Oxford. He completed PhD level coursework in public policy from the University of Pittsburgh. He is from India.
