Head of Strategy and Business Development for Emerging Markets in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin America, and Senior Vice-President for Non-Governmental Affairs of Roche Diagnostics

Wolfgang F. Keller, a German national based in Switzerland, is the Head of Strategy and Business Development for Emerging Markets in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin America, and Senior Vice-President for Non-Governmental Affairs of Roche Diagnostics. After studying Civil Engineering at the University in Karlsruhe and Economics at the University in Mannheim, he joined Roche Germany in 1979. Followed by 8 years in the Middle East, where he supported establishing  the company’s infrastructure, he then  moved to India to run a local production project in 1988.

From 1990 – 2010 he was acting as General Manager of Roche Diagnostics in Istanbul, Turkey, in Warsaw, Poland, in Athens, Greece and as Head of Project Management  in Basel. In 2010, he returned to Germany to restructure the so-called International Agency Department of Roche Diagnostics.

Since April 2014, he’s based in Rotkreuz, Switzerland where he has been ever since then establishing the new department for Emerging Markets. In this function, Wolfgang is also responsible for the implementation of the Roche Global Access Initiative within Diagnostics and serves as Senior Vice President for Non-Governmental Affairs.
