Yvette has over 20 years’ experience in business, including nearly 10 years at GSK and later advising on the GSK – Save the Children partnership. Yvette is the Co-Founder and CFO of Business Fights Poverty the world’s largest business-led collaboration network focused on social impact.
Business Fights Poverty is trusted by some of the world’s most pioneering international businesses to curate meaningful and productive engagement with their peers and stakeholders, crowdsource expertise to solve practical social impact problems and drive thought leadership. We have recently launched the outputs of three collaborations: on how to create systems within companies to drive commercial innovation with social impact; on how to build transformative corporate-NGO partnerships; and on how business can support refugee livelihoods through their value chains.
Over the past 13 years Yvette has helped create over 20 networks for the World Bank, the IFC and the UK’s Department for International Development, including Business Call to Action (BCtA). Through 200+ company commitments BCtA are projecting to improve access to healthcare services for over 617 million people by 2030 along with many other positive impacts. Business Fights Poverty is a Certified B Corp listed in the top-performing Best for the World Honorees 2018.
